Epson 3200 seen as Epson GT-9800

Hello,

I have tried to install and uninstall (and re-install!) SilverFast SE which was bundeled with my new Epson 3200 scanner. (computer OS is Windos XP-Pro) It seems to work perfectly EXCEPT that it identifies my scanner as an Epson GT-9800 and not a Perfection 3200. I have even downloaded and tried to install the newest release [V. 6.0.1.r44] but the results were the same. Does this matter? What should I do?
