Hi,
My old Epson 2450 isn't recognised in SE8+ (latest version) on my 2012 MacBook Pro (OS X 10.8.2). The latest Epson drivers are installed and the scanner operates ok using image capture. Having looked at your compatibility chart am I right in thinking that, since I'm running a 64-bit OS, this scanner is not currently supported? If not then will it ever be? Connection is via USB.
No problems at all with my other scanner (OpticFilm 7400).
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards,
Mike

Dear Mike,
The Epson 2450 is supported.
But SilverFast must be started in 32bit mode due to driver availability.
We have information on how to do this on our website.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
