Hi,
I want to try out SE Plus, but after downloading it twice, it still opens as SE.
Also, when clicking on the plug-ins 'Silverfast(Epson-SE-CS3) & Silverfast(Epson-SE) I get this message: "Could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize the type of file.
A little bit later the Adobe Updater started but later informed me that "The Updater is unable to locate the product to be updated." I clicked 'ok' and this came up: "This applied to Adobe Camera Raw 4.6 Update failed to install."
I just want to try out SE Plus before I buy it. What am I doing wrong?

This is because it is still active with the SE serial number
In this case you have to delete the serial number of SilverFast SE to be able to operate SilverFast in demo mode. The Demo version has all features of SilverFast SE active.
To delete the serial number please use the "service dialogue" which can be started with the small button that appears next to the main starting button in SilverFast launcher, just make sure you position your mouse over the button (without clicking it), the service button will appear next to it.
Once you have started the service dialogue, make sure you click the button "delete serial number".
Probably this appears because you tried to access that by double clicking the icon instead of trying to open it from the menu "file / Import" inside photoshop.
Well, that does not have anything to do with SilverFast, in that case I recommend you contact directly Adobe's Technical Support.
