Cannot Calibrate Scanner Error

Postby torresj » Sat Feb 01, 2003 6:28 am

Hello,

I succesfully upgraded from 5.5 to version 6 today. When I tried to Prescan I get the error Cannot Calibrate Scanner . Following the FAQs suggestion I press Presscan again and I get the error again. I am unable to scan. Please help. I have reinstalled 4 times and still not results. I am using the Microtek ArtixScan 4000 tf. I never had this problem with version 5.5. I uninstalled 5.5 before doing the upgrade.

Thanks,

JC

I just posted a thread to All Other Problems for exactly the same reason. I think I will uninstall version 6.0.1r36 and go back to 6.0.1r26, which worked fine prior to this install. This behavior was definately introduced with a recent build.

Please update your version of ScanWizard Pro TX:

http://www.microtekeurope.com/driver_download/

and keep us informed.

The drivers (not installed with SilverFast) seem to have been the problem
