i have 5.5 for the nikon ls8000 and ls4000. downloaded the latest 5.5.2 version but can not get out of demo mode. i click the 'i' button, then the 'credits' button and i hear the music along with the makers photographs, but there isn't the usual 'upgrade' button. in the text window after clicking 'credits' i see my name, organization and serial number, but on the "licensed to:" line, it says 'demo mode', and of course is printing the sf logo throughout the scan. any idea how to get over this??? i've been a owner of sf since version 4 and know how to upgrade but this latest glitch i can't seem to hurdle and needing to scan. any assistance either via this forum or email (john@stanmeyer.com) would be wonderful. thank you kindly. john stanmeyer.

Dear John.

It seems that you have downloaded a demo version. I will check, if there are invalid plugins on our download page.

hello eric,

thank you kindly for checking. i downloaded the 'update' file from this url:

http://www.silverfast.com/download/ai/5 ... r02(NikonM).bin

also needing to correct the same problem happening with the ls4000, as the update only pulls up as a demo with no upgrade options.

thank you kindly.

all the best, john
