Ai Demo wont recognise SCSI Canoscan FS2710

i downloaded a demo of Ai a while back and tried to evaluate it today. Unfortunately it refuses to recognise my Canon Canoscan which is connected to an Adeptec SCSI card on my Win98SE pc, along with a normal Agfa scanner and a Zip Drive (on the SCSI chain). It's a Twain version ive installed and it appears under the Photoshop Import menu ok, but unlike the software that came with the scanner, it cannot recognise the scanner. Tried everything. Any s uggestions much appreciated. TIA

please remove the ZIP drive from the SCSI chain, make sure your scanner is terminated, download the latest version and try again.
