I recently upgraded from the bundled version of Silverfast SE that came with my Epson V700 to the AI iT8 version.
Now I need to purchase a target to profile my scanner. I mostly scan negatives, both 35mm and 120 sizes - color and B&W.
This is a flat bed scanner.
Which would be the best target to buy?
Also, I would like to profile my printers sometime in the near future. Is the printer calibration functionality available as a separate purchase?
Which iT8 Target do I need?

So, that is to say, I need both a film target and reflective one.
Doing so would cover all my film scanning (different types and formats) as well as my output device?

The normal transparent IT8 calibration target covers all slides except Kodachrome.
The Kodachrome calibration target only covers Kodachrome slides.
The reflective IT8 target covers all reflective scans and is the basis for all output calibrations.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
