When transferring files from my Nikon Coolpix or Nokia cellular via non-product specific paths, such as whatever Windows 7 will pröpose when connecting the apparatus, I get a folder of labeled xxx.jpg.files and containing two files, vcm_s_kf_m160_160x105.jpg and vcm_s_kf_repr_886x85.jpg (about 2,5 kB and 40 kB) and the main image, xxx.jpg or xxx.tif.
I've also managed to get these file using Silverfast IT8 Ai Studio in standalone mode (the main .tif file was then 40 MB, which is as it should be).
Would someone more proficient than I explain what is going on?
Thanks in advance
AHF

Re: Triplicates
Dear AHF,
Not sure about this two. Perhaps there are some sort of thumbnails generated there or temporary files. This has nothing to do with SilverFast.
40 MB seems more like the actual picture file.
Perhaps somebody else has a clue
Cheers
