Hello,
One of my scan result is: Film 1995.10.14f SM 09.tif
When displayed by SilverFast 8.5 HDR Studio it looks strange. (My diplay is a DELL UP2715K)
When it is saved as JPEG2 file it looks OK.
At the following: http://1drv.ms/1NeJPKu
There are three files:
Film 1995.10.14f SM 09.tif (the scan result)
Film 1995.10.14f SM 09.jp2 (saved JPEG2)
Image clipping from SF HDR studio (Film 1995.10.14f SM 09).png
What can I do to avoid the strange color display? It is not suitable for corrections.
Best Regards
Isti

Re: Strange colors
Dear Isti,
Did you maybe use the Windows image viewer to display the image?
That app unfortunately does not use the color management system and can not display images with a high dynamic range correctly.
Try using an image viewer that supports full color management like the free IrfanView.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
