Silverfast won't scans

I am using Silverfast Plus SE for the first time. I go through everything. When I get done, I scan for the picture, but the picture isn't there. I name the folder, but the image isn't there. I think that I may have made a mistake, so I use the windows (windows 10), and it can't find it either. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?

Dear user,

After the scan the Scan Status display in the lower left of the SilverFast window should show a blue document icon. Is that the case?
If yes please click it and check if the scanned image opens. If it does the file has been saved.

The standard folder is the system's pictures folder.

If it does not save try saving to the desktop.

In case your troubles continue you can contact us through the SilverFast Help menu using the "Request online support".
