Silverfast not recognizing 35mm slides

Postby emtpilot » Fri Oct 07, 2016 8:01 pm

Hello
Just purchased the Silverfast SE plus software for my Epson V600 scanner. The software is not recognizing any of the 35mm slide options, (Under positive selection all I get is positive strip). Kodachrome is greyed out and I don't have any options for multiple frame options. Nothing is listed in drop down. All drivers have been updated. I have used the Epson scanner software as a check, and it scanned just fine. I am NOT using the workflow pilot, this is all under the manual settings. I have been through all the documentation and no solution. Please help!

Dear user,

please check if SilverFast is maybe set to reflective mode. You need to switch to transparency before you can activate the Kodachrome selection or use any of the holder specific find-frame options.
Another reason for not being able to switch can be that you are zoomed into a frame or 1:1/HQ mode. In that case you first need to zoom out before you can switch modes.

Kind regards,
Arne
