Hi.
I need to detect frames in batch processing with SilverFast HDR 8.0.1r28 (if possible when loading pictures).
I don't find how (There are not this checkbox in "auto" menu field, like SilverFast Ai Studio).
Actualy I must do it manually for each image.
In addition there is no direct button.
Regards

Re: SF HDR batch processing : automatically detect frames
Dear customer,
Currently the auto frame finding is only available during batch processing and manually from the frame tab.
During file import this is not possible at the moment.
But I will forward your request to our product management.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Re: SF HDR batch processing : automatically detect frames
Dear customer,
The batch framing has to be done in the SilverFast scan software.
But I have already requested to include the Auto frame finding in HDR.
I am not sure at the moment why it was not included.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Re: SF HDR batch processing : automatically detect frames
Thanks Arne.
I use the frame auto-detect actualy in SF Ai 8.0 in HDRi mode.
But sometime, the frame detect is not good (dark picture).
So it will be intersting to scan hrdi without frame (max frame) and to detect frame in post-traitment with SF Hdri.
Actually i need to re-scan manualy the picture where the frame detection is not good (keep the picture in the magazin, put it in an other magazin, re-scan, etc....)
...its wery long.
I think if it's possible to integrate this in SF HDR it should be interesting.
Regards.

Re: SF HDR batch processing : automatically detect frames
The auto frame detection in the SilverFast will offer an automatic enlargement of the frame soon or already does (for some scanner models).
So you do not have to scan the entire image but still have the possibility to use the frame detection in HDR with full control on the outcome.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
