SE6 Color Management

Postby Shock » Fri Mar 05, 2004 1:38 am

I am currently sampling SE6 in Stand Alone mode on my Epson 3170.
It is performing flawlessly and above my expectations. Am I correct in
assuming that Color Management is not included in SE6 and that I must
therefore live with output images imbedded with Adobe RGB icc? Sure would like to have an option for sRGB icc (non-Adobe) since I don't use "PS".

Thank you for a clarification ....... Shock

Dear Shok.

You are right, SE doesn?t support Color Managment. To use Color Managment you would need to upgrade to Ai.

Best regards
Eric.

Thank you for your response, Eric .......

I tried converting the Adobe RGB images to sRGB via Qimage, but the
results weren't all that satisfactory.
Guess I'll audition Ai .. :-?

Thanks again ..... Shock
