Scans stored as negative

Postby olejauch » Mon Mar 30, 2015 7:33 am

Hi,
Being new to this, I have a question related to scanning B/W negatives.
When I do a prescan I see the negatives in positive at the sceen in film strips.
If I then chose one to be scanned or batch scan all, they are stored as negatives in my output folder and not as positives.

I was expecting scans to be stored as positives as I think I have also done that once, but cannot see what I should have changed in the setup.

I'm using an Epson V700, iMac and the latest version of Silverfast SE

any help highly appriciated.

thanks.

Dear Ole,

Please check if you maybe have selected one of the 48/64 Bit HDR(i) RAW archive image formats.
These are stored unchanged for later processing in SilverFast HDR (Studio).

Try using e.g. 48 ->24 Bit for a normal image.

Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
