Hello!
I am scanning slides after having scanned negatives without any problem but something is wrong with slides.
All the slides are really dark and have a strong purple cast on them. I have set the output format to 48 to 24 bit. Auto-CCR corrects the purple cast but doesn't render correct colors anyway.
I have done a IT8 calibration but it doesn't fix the problem.
The film is Kodak Ektachrome ExtraColor.
Here is a example: http://cl.ly/image/1P2N3C362N0j
How do you think I can get a properly colored scan?
Thank you!
Guillaume

Re: Scanning slides : dark and purple cast
Dear Guillaume,
Have you tried to use the Neutral Point tool from the Pipette menu?
It should allow you to correct that cast by clicking on an area that should be neutral (grey).
Like one of the stones.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Re: Scanning slides : dark and purple cast
Yes I have tried, it gets better there is always a color cast in the shadows, and the colors are a lot less natural than the ones I can see on the slide.
Do you know how I can get the results like what I see directly on the slide ?
Thank you!
