Scanning negative strips with Plustek 8100
I have been scanning my old b&w negatives with an Epson V550 but I wanted to upgrade. Not only because the 550 "shaved" my negatives but also for more speed. Today I bought a Plustek OptikFilm 8100 expecting that it would automatically feed the negative strip through the scanner after successively scanning each image to the (general) standards I set. But the SilverFast 8 software seems to want me to make the settings for each frame separately, and there doesn't seem to be an automatic feed. Am I missing something or have I made big mistake buying this scanner? Thanks.

Does Plustek make a scanner that will scan multiple frames at at time? (And I'm using a Macintosh if that's relevant.) Thanks.

Dear customer,
Yes that would be the OpticFilm 120.
Kind regards,
Arne

Scanning negative strips with Plustek 8100
Hey guys,
I have a roll of slides on a film strip and I was wanting to scan them in somehow. Does anyone have some suggestions on a cheap way to do this?
