hello everyone,
I'm the happy owner of a V700 running Silverfast SE.
Would someone have a tip on properly scanning Fuji Pro 160C ?
Regards,
Lorenzo

Re: Scanning Fuji PRO 160C
Dear Lorenzo,
SilverFast does not provide a dedicated profile for this film.
So you will have to find another profile which fits the film closely.
I would suggest starting with the other Fuji films but any film could have a similar orange mask.
In SilverFast Ai Studio it is possible to further adjust a profile in the expert settings' curves tab.
The adjusted curves can then be saved as a custom profile using the "save curves" button.
The custom profile will be available under Vendor <other> Filmtype <other> ISO/ASA your profile.
In SilverFast 8 it now also is easily possible to share and back-up custom profiles.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Re: Scanning Fuji PRO 160C
hello Arve,
thanks for the answer. I used the PRO 160 C 6x6 as a base, and it seems to work ok by doing adjustments in the histograms.
It's quite a hassle, but unfortunately I cannot yet afford the 249 € upgrade to AI Studio...
