Scan output 300dpi

Postby vanspijk » Wed Mar 05, 2008 3:04 pm

Hi all,

I'm new to scanning and silverfast so bear with me please.

I want to get a 300dpi output when I scan, and the settings show 300dpi output. No problems there. But when I open the image in PS, it says 72dpi and I have to rescale it to 300dpi again. Is there a way to output the image at 300dpi without me having to get busy with PS?

Thans

What do you have your print resolution set to in PS?

The print resolution is set on 300, but when I open the picture it displays at 72 dpi. Even when I set the screen res on 300dpi.
