restoring old faded photos by new Silverfast user

Postby GeorgeDuke » Tue Jul 12, 2016 1:03 am

Hello, I searched and didn't see this in the forum so hopefully not too redundant with past queries. I am new to Silverfast (have SilverFast Ai Studio) and need to restore faded old photos - most are black/white (greyscale) but a minority are in color. I viewed the videos for SCC and Global CC but am unclear on how I would use for faded greyscale. Is there a tutorial or instructions somewhere? I would like a series of steps that an inexperienced 'amateur' could follow. thank you

Dear customer,

The tool is called ACR and it is activated using the slider in the Selective CC tool.

Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
