Ai Studio latest update. Epson 11,000 scanner. I reset SF and scanned the target in several positions. For HDR box was checked.
Does it matter that there is the IT8 Input profile and an out put profile present?
The documentation says to open in HDR and zoom to 100%. I find no way to zoom in more than the 33% preview displayed.
I opened the images in Lightroom where I could zoom 100%. Seems like I can get a useful reading of the target that way. Having a Retina display I also zoomed 200% which some say is the Retina equivalent of 100%.
Also the RAW scan had a ppi setting of 300. Does this setting matter?
Surprisingly the scanner seemed to have equal sharpness across the platen.
please advise,

Re: Resolution Target questions
Dear user
you can use the 100% view directly in SilverFast.
Simply activate the HQ mode in one of the tools but make sure all image altering tools (especially USM) are deactivated.
If you use an external viewer make sure it dose not apply any kind of software sharpening.
The Preset does not matter. It is only used to calculate scan resolutions for certain pint or display resolutions and sizes. The slider sets the actual scan resolution.
Kind regards,
Arne
