Resize to file size

Postby Paul Escudier » Tue Sep 23, 2003 5:25 pm

I have about 1000 images between 48 and 54 megabytes in size, I need to size them all to an exact file size of 50mb (don't ask why, there are some strange people out there!!!), does any one know the best way of doing it?

Cheers,

Paul

1. Select the first picture, activat the EDIT function and make your settings (bring the pic to 50 MB)

2. Copy these settings to all JM Pics

3. Choose format and path, start .....here we gooo !

Thanks for the quick response, unfortunately this method only appears to work if all images are currently the same size, mine are of varying size and aspect ratio. Is there a way to fix the output size in Megabytes and have silverfast increase/reduce the % scale accordingly? BTW Iam using HDR 6 on a Mac.

Regards,

Paul

Does anyone have any ideas on what I could use to achieve this?

Fixed Output Size set in JobManager

Dear Paul,

this is currently not implemented in the JobManager. I will put that on the development list to be done as soon as possible!

best regards
