Print Tao vs QImage

Postby mgilvey » Mon Jan 21, 2008 10:27 pm

I am on an epson wide format yahoogroup and people have been trumpeting the fine quality of QImage when printing because when you need to scale up an image, it does a far better job than Photoshop, Blow Up or Genuine Fractals.

QImage is only available on Windows. Print Tao is Mac compatible. Does anyone know if Print Tao approaches or surpasses QImage when it comes to enlarging a photo?

PrinTao uses the upscaling done by the printer under OS X. The Image is send to the printer in original resolution (except when downscaling is needed) and the Printer scales the image to the print size.

kind regards
