Preview and final image completely different

Postby greg_o_ry » Fri Dec 30, 2016 5:16 pm

Hi,

I'm using an Epson V600 with Silverfast Plus SE 8.8 and I'm scanning a 120 film. It's tri-x 400 and the preview looks fine but the scan looks like a weird psychedelic painting... see hereunder.

Dear user,

This issue is caused by the infrared correction which unfortunately can not be used with B&W film.
The infrared channel of the scanner can not penetrate the silver halide emulsion.
Please deactivate iSRD and use SRDx instead.

Kind regards,
Arne
