SF Ai 8 Studio + HDR + Epson V700
Is it possible to modify the value of the prescan zoom-in? I toggle the magnification in order to precisely set each frame prior to scanning. The current value hovers around 28%. (It does seem to vary from slide to slide).
My slides are framed in GePe glass mounts and set in the Epson 12-slide holder. The combination of Epson holder and GePe manufacturing tolerances mean that too often an image will bleed over the edge of the software window. A lesser magnification factor of 20... 22 % would ensure that all four edges of the image would be visible on the screen.

Re: Prescan zoom adjustment
Dear customer,
SilverFast normally zooms in on the selected scan frame.
You can manually define a zoom area by holding the <command>(Mac) / <Ctrl>(Win) key while dragging a zoom box.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
