Modify EXIF information

how can i modify the EXIF-date of a scanned picture.
I need this faeture to organize the pictures using Adobe Photoshop Album.

You will need some other software to edit the EXIF data. I did a quick net search and found a utility at http://www.hugsan.com/EXIFutils/

I have a program called ACDSee Pro Photo Manager that allows me to modify EXIF, and IPTC, but I thought you should know there are a number of choices.
