iSRD problems (REFLECTA PROSCAN7200)

Hello everyone,
I recently purchased REFLECTA PROSCAN7200 and also SilverFast SE plus. When I scan Kodak gold 400 negative I've got strange results with iSRD on. It is all yellow/red. No other colors. Manual prescan in iSRD sub window gives me all white, even if I change number from 12 to any other. When I tick "dust and scratch" removal the result is ok, but Cyberview's ICE is removing dust better. Can you suggest what is happening ?

Dear Julius,

it is hard to say what kind of Problem you are having without a picture to illustrate.
In the meantime you can make sure you have the latest version of SilverFast installed in your computer, if you have not or are not sure, you can go to the homepage, download and installed the latest update. You can also reset the preferences to the factory settings after you have installed the latest version, this can be done using the service dialogue found on the SilverFast Launcher.

It is simple _ when scanning a slide in auto iSRD I've got all black. When I switch to manual adjustments I have good results. Maybe I do not fully understand how iSRD works... I can tick only one box. Top one is auto. It does give me black image. Bottom one is manual - it works. Is it correct - auto/manual or it is hardware/software boxes ? And why I am getting black in auto? Again, thank you very much for education. I must say that even with scratches the overall image is much better than with Cyberview !!!

Dear Julius,

Are you scanning Kodachrome slides? Black and white films? Did you update the software to the latest version and try resetting the software as recommended?

I 've got the latest version which I checked last week. Also I am scanning Fujichrome Sensia 100 slides and Kodak 400 negatives. Both films did not work with auto box checked (number 12 on slider). Also I notised that ME gives me green tint comparing to MS. It is not seen on a prescan window. Only on a final TIFF file. It is easy to correct in PS, but strange... :-?
