Including infrared channel with corrected scans?

I know that SilverFast's 64-bit HDRi scans include a 24-bit infrared channel for processing in SilverFast HDR Studio. Is it possible to embed an infrared channel in a colour-corrected scan, or is this only supported with HDRi scans?

Wrong, 64 bit HDRi scans include a 16 bit channel with the infrared information not a 24 bit channel.

It is only possible in the HDRi raw files
