I am using SilverFast Ai V 6.6.2r5 Windows with an Epson Perfection 4870 Photo scanner. The scanner is connected to a USB 3.0 Hub, and the scans are saved to a WD Sentinal DX4000. I am scanning old photos at 600 dpi and from time to time there is a break in the communication so I have to shut down the program. Each time this happens, I need to remember to set the CMS Profiles for ICM so I will have ProPhotoRGB saved as the colorspace.
Is there any way I can save this option so I do not have to reset it?

Re: How to save Profiles for ICM
Dear customer,
The settings are located in the user folder.
The exact location depends on the Windows version.
Try connecting the scanner directly to your computer.
Many scanners do not work very well if connected to a hub.
Your issue might be caused by this.
Especially if a hard drive is connected to the same hub.
Please also test if scanning to the local hard drive is more stable than scanning directly into the NAS.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
