how to on scanning colour negs with epson 3200

Postby gerald5 » Tue Jun 17, 2003 9:37 am

:D Hi there,
I'm a newbie on transparancy scanning and just bought the Epson 3200 with silverfast SE included. However, I can't seem to scan multiple frames on my colour negs, they just show up as two strips on my scan, just the way I put them in the film stripholder. What I would like to do is to scan the negs all at once and save the singular frames as image files, and not the total of 12 frames as one image file. It works with Epson Scan but I want it to work with silverfast SE as well because it is more powerful.

:-?
Maybe I'm overlooking something, but I'd really appreciate some help here.

The SE Version of SilverFast unfortunately does not offer this feature. Only the AI version supports batch scanning, which lets you frame each image individually, make individual corrections and then scan all images as seperate files at once, either into Photoshop, or saving them to seperate files.
