How to find neutral gray in SilverFast?

Postby Yurar » Fri Jul 15, 2011 10:44 pm

Hello,

Midtone adjustment requires knowing of the neutral (gray) point in the image.

Usually one has to guess, where this point is (it can be absent whatsoever). However, in Photoshop one can use a neat trick:

"An Easy Way To Find Neutral Gray In An Image"

Is there anything similar in Silverfast Ai/HDR?
I know how to SET neutral gray. I don't know how to FIND it ... :(

Hi Yurar

I have checked the trick you have posted. I do not think there is a similar trick to find the grey point in SilverFast.

Cheers
