HELP with HDRi scanning

Hello,

I have recently purchased the Canoscan 9000f and i'm trying to get 64bit HDR scans from my negatives. However whenever i use this setting, the scanner's result is a high quality scan of the negative, and not the final image. What am i doing wrong here? Is this the best way to get the BEST quality scan?

Dear Tom,

when you make a scan in 64 bit HDR, it is 48bit color + 16bit infrared channel. NegaFix is deactivated in this mode.
When you want to save the image as positive you must scan it in 48bit color negative mode.
