green cast on scans

Hi We are getting a green cast in a stripe on scans. Does anyone know how to fix this?

if you provide us with a little more information like, kind of material, scanner model, operating system, software you are using, etc, we might be able to help you.

Scanner is : SacanMaker i900 Microtek
Software is SilverFast 6.2 Ai

Have you tried deleting the preferences to start with the factory settings of SilverFast?

We have reinstalled the SilverFast software and still have the same problem. Is that what you meant by 'deleting the preferences'?

Not really. The preferences are not deleted by uninstalling or reinstalling SilverFast, depending on your system, it can manually be done by deleting the folder called "LaserSoft imaging" located at:

Mac

HardDisk/Users/Your name/Library/Preferences

Win XP

C:/documents and settings/your user name/application data

Deleting the folder should be performed while SilverFast is not running, otherwise this will not have any effect
