Ghost window

Ghost window
After upgrading to SF 8.5.0r7 (Epson V500) I'm having an odd problem. After clicking START two windows are shown:one with the normal dashboard, and a "ghost" & empty window (see attachment). I'm unable to use the program, even If I close the ghost window.

Dear customer,
That is probably the Quicktime start movie shown at the start of SilverFast, which can not be shown correctly.
It should only come up once unless you close it before it is finished.
We had another customer with the same issue but it did not show up anymore at the next start.

How can this be fixed, so this window is not shown by default? The program freezes if I close the window.
