Full format IT8 target

I'm thinking to buy an individually calibrated IT8 target for my Epson 10000 XL.

Could anyone please let me know the difference between 5X7 target and Full Format (16cmX21cm)?
Can I get better results with Full Format or is the target made for a special purpose?

I also would like your help regarding the choice of the target between Kodak and Fuji.
Is it a matter of preference?

The bigger the target the bigger every color field and the easier and more precise it will be.

I also would like your help regarding the choice of the target between Kodak and Fuji.

Not really, the Fuji material is more expensive than the Kodak one. You would only require a specific target in the case of Kodachrome.
