Exposition correction hardware of software processed ?

Postby elscode » Wed Feb 13, 2013 2:33 pm

I have a Epson V750 with Silverfast AI 8

My question is : when using exposition correction (-3.0 to 3.0) in NegaFix, is this correction processed by hardware (changing exposition duration inside the scanner itself) or just by sofware ?

Dear customer,

that setting adjusts the curves used by NegaFix.
It is not a hardware setting.

kind regards,
