Edit Exif data for each frame

Most of the items I scan, I want to archive into a gallery that manages images by create date, and other exif data. By default all scans from Silverfast set the image create date to the date of the scan. This is not very helpful. I have looked for a way in Silverfast 8 plus to specify exif data for each frame but I see no way to do it.

I work around it by saving all my scans and then running a 3rd party exif editor to set the correct exif fields for each image. This would be a lot easier to do while scanning each image. Is there a way I am missing?
