I scanned approx. 100 slides as "64 Bit HDRi Color" using SilverFast Ai Studio (Epson).
At the time I did not know about the densitometer capability to rotate individual slides in batch mode. Hence, many of the slides I scanned are in the wrong orientation (landscape instead of portrait and vice versa).
Is there a way to edit the RAW files to correct the orientation (rotate them accordingly) and save? I assume there must be a way to accomplish this within HDR Studio or another SilverFast software.
Note: I DO NOT want to simply correct the orientation via processing (exporting to another format) — I want to edit the 64-bit TIFF files so they contain the correct orientation information (as they would had the densitometer been set correctly while scanning). This could easily be done within Photoshop or Preview (Mac OS X), but I'm guessing this would disrupt SilverFast's "RAW" file structure (e.g., the infrared wouldn't work correctly thereafter).
Thanks for the help.

Hi there
No it is not possible.
Your assumption is absolutely correct.
Cheers

Wow, that really hurts. How about SilverFast DCPro?
Where is the orientation information included? Is it XMP or other metadata?
Thanks.

Dear ScannerRover
DC Pro does not have that possibility either.
It is not included within the XMP nor the metadata, the file itself is written in that way.
Cheers
