Hello,

It's impossible to scan and save Lab with 16bits/channels (Ai 5.5 and LS4000). How can I do for storing that kind of images without loosing any information for later use in HDR ? As far as I know, if I scan with RGB 16bits/channels I'll loose information, Isn't it ?

Saving an image in 48bits RGB doesn't let you loose any information.
Future versions coming soon will also support conversion to 48bit LAB data.

SilverFast 5.5.2 does support CIE-Lab 16 bit

SilverFast Ai as well as SilverFast HDR do now (from SF 5.5.2) support saving data into 16/48 bit CIE-Lab.
