Any loss of Quality ?

Postby kleinjn » Sat Nov 09, 2013 11:47 am

I have experienced that if I turn my slides 36/24 to 24/36 in the slider magazin the scanning process is much faster. 6 Minutes for a 5000dpi scan in ME compared to 9 Minutes before. I then just rotate the scan 'counterclockwise' for saving. Is there any quality loss involved doing so? Why is the scan faster this way ?

Dear customer,

The scan is faster because the sensor in the scanner has a shorter traveling distance this way.
There will be no loss in quality scanning this way.

kind regards,
