Hi,
As far as I can see my scanner is not supported but the G4050 is. There is only small differneces between the two so I wonder if the G4010 will be supported in the near future?
I have downloaded the trial version of SiverFast Ai but it crashes when I hit the Prescan or Scan button. Probably because my G4010 is not supported.
Regards

Hi Nils
It has been a few weeks since the last post on this thread, so I thought I would ask if there is anything you can tell us on the status of porting SilverFast for the HP ScanJet G4010. I dislike the software that HP bundled with my scanner so intensely that the I consider the scanner nothing more than an oversized paperweight until I can get some decent software to run with it.
Thanks for your reply.
Steve

Dear srgreer,
the decision is we will port SF to the G4010, however i do not know when we will start the process, i would estimate some more weeks to flow by as we have other hi-prio projects here right now and as it is with holidays and reduced work force here :-)
So, don't keep your breath but it will happen eventually, sorry to not able to be more specific !
Greetings,
Nils Heidorn
