hp 4670 on mac

has there been any progress on getting silverfast to work under mac os X for the hp 4670 scanner? as you can see by my mesage of 26 july (in the "HP ScanJet 4600/4670 support?" thread), i can't use it at all. (which makes it only slightly worse than hp's own software!)

Dear mbloore,
i am happy to say that i am just in the progress of porting several HP Scanners...
So far i am working on the PC and the 4670 is already working fine, i will start work on the Mac within 2 weeks, and i will know if it will work on Mac OSX very soon.

So hold your breath, works are on the way...

the hp software is forever losing track of the scanner, especially when i try to do high-resolution scans. i usually have to reboot to get scanning again!

Any more news? After looking at Windows Vista we are seriously considering a Mac for our next desktop and if we do so we will need to replace our Windows software with OSX versions.
