Auto Save
When I scan an image on my D4500 the Silverfast AI Studio ask where on my hard drive and what format I want to save my image in. This is from PS CS2. I want to save it in PS but this is not an option and I cannot find in the software where to turn this function off. That is the Auto Save fuction that I am asking about. Thanks. BC

BeaverCoyote,
If you are launching SilverFast from within PS CS2 you may go to the general tab and change the "Scan Mode:" option to "Normal". This will send your images from the scanner directly in to PS CS2 Vs saving them.
To access SilverFast in PS CS2 you click on File; Import; SilverFast
Hope this helps!

Re: Auto Save
My pleasure!
If you still do not see the option you may have installed the TWAIN version of SilverFast Vs the PS plug-in version. If that is the case un-install SF, and then download and install the plug-in version. The only reason to use the TWAIN version is to make SF available in other programs. The plug-in version allows you to scan into PS as I described, and you may also do stand-alone scans.
