Upgrade from Windows2000 to WindowsXP

I have an Epson Perfection 2450 Scanner and a PC with Windows2000. I'm thinking about byuing Silverfast Ai for Windows2000. There is a Silverfast Ai for WindowsXP version too. What if I later decide to upgrade my PC to WindowsXP - do I have to buy also a new version of Silverfast Ai for WindowsXP or what's Lasersoft's policy?

Dear Matti.

SilverFast does not depend on the version of your operating system. If you have SilverFast running on Win2K, you can later use the same SilverFast on WinXp. You will have to reinstall SilverFast, of course, and you will have to reenter your serial number.
