Troubles

Postby wapitiwilla » Mon Jan 27, 2003 11:53 pm

Hello,

I bought AI 6 back in August and got the 5.5 disk as 6.0 had just come out, and we had to download 6.0. I know I used it at least once without a hitch. Now, after a system re-install, I can't get silverfast to work. In photoshop it says "no scanner found" but nikonscan and v**s**n both work. The stand alone app hangs after "measuring exposure time". What do you suppose is the problem? Nikonscan s***s and I think Silverfast was superior to Vescan in terms of densities and features. The following is taken from the log file. Thanks, Carol.

ps. Machine is Dual G4 with 1 gig ram running os 10.1.5 - I need to run Silverfast in "classic mode" as my main export plugin only works in classic (piezography).

It is possible that the version you downloaded did not install the drivers aT the correct location. Check the NikonM entry concerning the installer at the end of the history:

https://www.silverfast.com/show/history/en.html

Please update with the latest version and contact our support team if the problem remains:
