SilverFast problem with Win 2000?

I have SilverFast AI 5.5.0r06 for HP ScanJet 4c/T. It has been working beautifully for almost 1 year, but recently we upgraded our machines from Win 95 to Win 2000 and I had to reinstall SilverFast. Now it lets me do everything except the final scan and that button is greyed out. I have checked all my settings and they *appear* to be correct. Is there an upgrade I need to get?

Please check to see what version you installed. The original demo version of v.5.5 had this issue, but later versions of the software corrected it. If you have registered your software, I'd recommend you go to the Download section, and get the latest upgrade be it v.5.5 or prior. If you haven't registered, go ahead and do so, it only takes a second, and then you can download the latest update to your version of SF.

Lots of us have been using Windows 2000 for quite some time with SF, so I'm sure that's not the problem. It is really easy to install the wrong file, though.
