Hello,
In my search for a new and better scanning software I downloaded the Silverfast Demo PS Plugin. When I start the plugin I can have a prescan, but when I for instance move the floating windows everything turns white and Photoshop crashes. I have to reboot before my scanner works again. The same happens with the Silverfast Demo Twain.
Does someone have any idea what causes this problem?
My configuration:
AMD Athlon 1800XP+
512 mb DDR
Windows XP SP1 Dutch
Photoshop 7
Epson Photo Perfection 2450 USB (connected through USB2 card)

In the meantime I removed Epson Twain driver and reinstalled a newer one. The result is the same. Here is a screenshot of the problem:

Strangely enough when everything turns white (see screenshot) and I then switch off my scanner, the screens return normal again. I switch my scanner on and I can have a scan now. Strange...
The screens turning white only happens when on flatbed mode. I tested a couple of times in transparency mode and here it works fine but after the scan I suppose the file is send to Photoshop but nothing seems te happen. The status bar with the little airplane remains viewable, even after ten or more minutes...

I have EXACT same problem
I am using Photoshop 6
Windows XP SP1
768MB Memory
Epson Perfection 2400
Are there any resolutions other than unplugging the scanner (which seems to work?!) ...?
