Silver Fast Preview and Photoshop color mismatch

Postby dmitryg » Fri Jan 31, 2003 3:24 pm

Help me, please!

I have installed SF6.0.1 PhotoShop Plugin, PhotoShop 7 and Windows XP SP1. Scaner UMAX PowerLook 270. In photoshop color settings RGB working space is set to ADOBE RGB(1998), CMYK is Euroscale Coated v2, gray is gray gamma 2.2, Spot is dot gain 20%, all color management policies is set to Convert to Working..., Engine is set to Adobe(ACE), intent is set to Perceptual. Monitor is calibrated. In Silver Fast I have following CMS settings:
Internal->Monitor - Automatic
Internal->Output - RGB
Profiles for internal - ADOBE RGB(1998)
Rendering intent - Perceptual
Embedded ICC Profiles - ADOBE RGB(1998)

I scan negative film and after scan I have color mismatch between SilverFast Preview and PhotoShop image. SF preview have neutral tone, but all image in photoshop have strong yellow tone.

Please check the gamma correction value set in SilverFast (Opstion > General). Must be 2.2 as well (just as in Photoshop).
