SF Se 6.5.5r2 + Mac OSX Leopard = won't work

I'm having the following problems:

1) the batch scan, scans all the images with the default settings even if I go frame by frame and change them, SF will scan only the one that I've currently selected with my settings. all the rest will be scanned with the default.

2) CRITICAL: The options panel is disappeared after I've selected Basic. I've uninstalled and reinstalled SF and still the same issue!!!!.
I can't use the software simply because I CAN'T SEE THE OPTIONS!

Dear William,
two things you should try:

-1- update the version to v655r5
-2- delete your preferences, they might be corrupt (see FAQ).

I have a similar problem, having just upgraded from Mac OS 10.4.x to 10.5.6. The target scanner is Epson 4990 Photo. The stand-alone version of SF works, but the Photoshop CS4 does not see the plug-in. When I use the link in this thread that was listed for v655r5, it takes me to a download of v644r6. My understanding is that v.6.4 will not work with OS 10.5, so I did not download it.

At this point, I'm not sure what I have to do to start scanning from Photoshop again.

when you register your Serialnumber online https://www.silverfast.com/reg/en.html you can download a free upgdate for SilverFast 6.6.0r4 this one should copy the right link into your Photoshop CS4.

Thank you for your response. However, it didn't work. The problem seems to be that I have upgraded my OS to Mac OS-X 10.5.6 (as well as going from PS2 to PS4) and the web site will not allow me to download SF for any 10.5.x version of the OS. If I follow the link, It allows me to download 6.4.4r6, but no other version. So it would appear that I am unable to access a version that will be of use to me. I have a screen capture that show that the drop down menu limits me to OS 10.4. Let me know how to send it to you and I'll pass it along if you need it.
