SF & Graphic Converter 4.3 or Word X?

With the latest SF release, does the twain module work correctly with GC 4.3 or Word v.X? I'm not ready to jump to PS 7 (at full price) yet, but want to use Mac OS X for my PIE 1800u, which SF supports.

LaserSoft-how about putting a trial version of the OS X software so we don't have to ask these questions?

SilverFast for OS X will not have the twain drivers. It only consists of a PhotoShop plugin and SF_App, the SilverFast standalone version.

no - not yet. Available OS X versions will be listed here:

We had a few customers who reported incompatibilities with graphic
converter. It might work with word (please try the demo when it becomes
available)

At this time I do not have an exact time frame for the PIE- version, since
we depend on PIE to develop drivers for the scanner on OS X first."

Too bad, as I was hoping to circumnavigate PIE-they don't respond to questions and haven't announced support for OS X yet. So my only solution is to get PS 7 and SilverFast for OS X if I am to use it anytime soon...
