Scan to is File OK, Scan to PS produces an empty image box.

I'm using SF Ai ver 6 with Photoshop 6 on a Windows 2000 box. Scanner is a Howtek 4500 drum scanner.

I can successfully do a final scan to a file, but if I set SF to scan directly to Photoshop, I get an empty (no progress bar, no preview thumbnail) scanning box and the image displayed in Phohtoshp is white - no image at all.
